Dr. Namjae Cho

Dr. Namjae Cho is a professor of MIS at the School of Business of Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, master’s degree in Management Science from Korea Advanced Institute in Science, Seoul, Korea and Technology, and doctorate degree in Management Information Systems from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

He established Young Entrepreneur Spirit (YES) MBA program and Korea Asia Business Study (KABS) MBA program at the School of Business of Hanyang University and is currently serving as the Head of International MBA program at the School of Business of Hanyang University. He has published research papers in journals including Industrial Management and Data Systems, Computers and Industry, International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain, Journal of Data and Knowledge Engineering, Journal of Information Technology Applications and Management, and others.

He also published several books including “Technology Planning and Road Mapping(Sigma Press, Korean, received National Council of Academy Award),” “Supply Network Coordination in the Dynamic and Intelligent Environment (IGI Global, U.S.A)” and “Innovations in Organizational Coordination Using Smart Mobile Technology (Springer Verlag, Germany)”.

He has served as the chief of editors of several journals including Information Systems Review, International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management, Journal of Information Technology Application and Management. He is current chief of editors of the Asia Journal of Information and Communication and serves as the Chairman of International IT Applications and Management Society. He consulted government organizations in several programs including serving as the director of Research Program on the Future of Digital Convergence run by the Ministry of Information and Communication. He also provided consulting to several multinational companies including Samsung, LG, SK, Microsoft Korea, Sun Microsystems Korea, and SAP Korea.

 

The courses consists of video presentations, reading materials, quizzes and assessments.
